Fuji Spray® is an award-winning Canadian manufacturer of spray systems. They have two types of spray guns. The turbine spray guns are the T-Model™ series. And the compressor spray guns are the LX-20™ and MPX-30™.
Their T-Model™ is the newest edition of HVLP spray guns in their catalog. This series of spray guns are designed for flexibility, control, ergonomics and convenience for the user. The G-XPC is also part of the T-Model series. LX-20 and MPX-30 have been developed to fill the gap between conventional high-pressure spray guns and HVLP.

Fuji 5070 – T70 Spray Gun
Lightweight, sleek-looking spray guns are the new choice of DIYer’s. They look for smaller size with better control, rather than large, heavy, feature-packed guns that will bust your hand up over the years.

It won’t blow around shop dust and the turbulence around the spray are is very negligible. It won’t splatter sprays all around, finishes the job neat and clean. The price of the T-Series is a bit on the higher side though, but it still is a suited candidate for any DIYer’s needs.
Fuji Spray 5157G – T75G Gravity
The T75G has all the features of the T70 and more. The side pattern control knob for better adjustment of fan pattern and size, non-bleed design for greater control and less blow, sleek and lightweight design, high-efficiency air cap pre-installation to prevent overspray, great atomization and 100% stainless steel fluid components coupled with ergonomic stay-cool handle. All of these are mutually common features of the Fuji Spray 5157G – T75G Gravity Spray Gun and Fuji 5070 – T70 Spray Gun.
But the T75G has more. It comes installed with 600cc nylon gravity cup and lid, holds much more paint. The lid provides a great seal without gasket for the cup (the cup is center-mounted), and there are also 3 additional gravity cups available. The price is almost the same as the T70, albeit a bit higher. You are guaranteed to achieve the best result with this tool, in whatever type of paint job you can throw at it.
Fuji 9600-G Gravity G-XPC Spray Gun
This one is a re-launched version of the famous G-XPC gravity spray gun, under the banner of the new and improved T-series. The Fuji 9600-G Gravity G-XPC spray gun has side-mounted 400cc tilt-able gravity cup that enables you to work multi-directionally (including upwards!). The cup is pressurized to increase the spraying range.
Like the other two, it has side-mounted fan pattern control to adjust the fan size and 1.4mm pre-installed air cap. It is designed to work in ceramics, wood, tiles like bathtub refinishing and cabinets/furniture and automotive. Lacquers, enamels, polyurethanes, latex and water-based coatings are all usable with this gun.
It’s non-bleed, includes Fuji Spray Turbines with a bleed-off inside the turbine. Optional 3oz, 400cc, and 600cc cups are also available. The price is quite similar to the other two.
Fuji 6355G-MP-C-14K Gravity MPX-30
The MPX-30 was built to fill the gap between high-pressure spray guns and HVLP spray guns. The merge of medium levels of pressure with higher transfer rates, the MPX-30 is a general-purpose spray gun for professional use or DIY. It can handle any type of coating, including solids.
It’s designed to be user-friendly, has conventional control schemes of other high-pressure spray guns, but adds the benefits and convenience of HVLP. The recommended pressure is 15.2cfm at 26psi. There are 2 extra air cap sets included, on is 1.2mm and other is 1.7mm. The nylon gravity cup holds 600ccs of paint and has a regulator gauge. The build is 100% stainless steel fluid components.
The price of the Fuji 6265G-LX-C-14K is a bit higher than the rest of this list. But it is the most professional one here also, with the versatility to use all types of coatings equally efficiently. - Is it normal for turbine case to get hot?
- Yes, it is. The turbine motor produces heat which is then transferred to the turbine case. It will be best to allow the turbine 10-15 minutes of rest for every 45 minutes of use.
- Where should I place the Turbine?
- 20ft away form the spray area would be a good distance. The turbine needs a large volume of cool air.
- How far should I hold the spray gun from the object?
- As it is fan-shaped, for a larger size fan it will be good to keep it 6”-8” further from the surface. Moving too close will result in bounce back and moving too far can give dry spray.
- Can they be used for wall painting?
- It’s not specifically designed for that, but many users have used the HVLP spray guns for that purpose as well and they were very happy with the results.
- How to Reduce Overspray?
- Adjust the fan size to suit the project. Thin only as much as necessary. Never hold it further than 8 inches for any project, reduce the air pressure, get used to the triggering process and use some type of extraction fan if you can.
